Meravigliosa-Mente (l'angolo della poesia) - VIVA WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE!

BUON SHAKESPEARE DAY!

E voi come festeggerete?

"Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown"
Henry IV

"I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space,
were it not that I have bad dreams."
Hamlet
~
"Stars, hide your fires;
Let not light see my black and deep desires."
Macbeth

"Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more"
~
"Cowards die many times before their deaths.
The valiant never taste of death but once."
~
"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves, that we are underlings."
Julius Caesar

"Oh, beware, my lord, of jealousy!
It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock
The meat it feeds on."
Othello
~
"Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
 Men were deceivers ever,
One foot in sea and one on shore,
 To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
 Into Hey, nonny nonny.
Sing no more ditties, sing no mo
Of dumps so dull and heavy.
The fraud of men was ever so,
 Since summer first was leavy.
Then sigh not so, but let them go
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
 Into Hey, nonny nonny."
Much Ado About Nothing

Let's talk about movies: MACBETH

TITOLO ORIGINALE: Macbeth
REGISTA: Justin Kurzel
ANNO: 2015
CAST: Michael Fassbender (Macbeth). Marion Cotillard (Lady Macbeth), Sean Harris (Macduff), Paddy Considine (Banquo).
Life's but a walking shadow. Honor. Love. Friends. But in there's death. Curses.
